Prof. Bornscheuer: 6th Publication in Angewandte Chemie Int. Ed. in 2020 accepted

A publication on structure-function analyses on carboxylesterases with promiscuous acetyltransferase activity with potential applications in biocatalysis is accepted in Angewandte Chemie Int. Ed. The research team led by Prof. Bornscheuer including the first author Hendrik Müller in a fruitful collaboration with the research group of Prof. Lammers successfully uncovered the mechanism at atomic resolution underlying carboxylesterase-acetyltransferase activities of family VIII carboxylesterases. This publication is one out of six publications of the research group of Prof. Bornscheuer that was published in Angewandte Chemie Int. Ed. in 2020.
