This study, led by the Weigand lab in Marburg, uses a further-developed RNA Bind-n-Seq technology to derive the precise preference of the immunoregulatory protein Roquin for the necessary suppression of transcripts in the immune response from a library of pre-structured RNAs. The findings are supported by high-resolution NMR-based interaction studies in correlation with RNA-protein structure models.
