Uwe Bornscheuer has received today the "Kaufmann Memorial Lecture" award at the 19th Euro Fed Lipid Congress and Expo in Poznan, Poland. H. P. Kaufmann had founded the German Society of Fat Science (DGF in 1936) and the International Society of Fat Science (ISF) in 1954. This memorial lecture has been introduced by ISF to honor the memory of H. P. Kaufmann.
