Uwe Bornscheuer has been honored today by the "Engineering Foundation International" organization with the "2022 Enzyme Engineering Award" at the Enzyme Engineering Conference XXVI in Dallas, TX, USA. He is recognized worldwide as a leader in enzyme engineering and biocatalysis, where he has developed important new concepts, technologies and biocatalysts and many projects helped to establish novel environmentally friendly processes.
